Műanyag,gyurma,és egy kis textil...-Plastic, plasticine and some textile…

Előzőleg megígértem,h részletesebben leírom,hogy hogyan is készültek a műanyag ékszerek.

Nos,azt hittem,hogy két műanyag könnyebben összeolvad,de tévedtem... túldeformálódik ha sokáig melegítem,vagy épp kilyukad,vagy ami a legrosszabb kigyullad a kettő közé tett papír vagy textil.
Ami megkönnyítheti és felgyorsíthatja a folyamatot,az nem más,mint egy kis ragasztó. Vékonyan bekentem a a műanyagok egy-egy oldalát háztartási keményítővel -ez is egy fajta ragasztó anyag- meg vártam míg megszáradnak,aztán jöhetett a melegítés.
Ezzel tovább játszottam kicsit, vastagabb műanyagot daraboltam fel,majd festettem be üvegfestékkel. Ez valamivel időigényesebb,hisz meg kell várni minden egyes darabot,hogy teljesen megszáradjanak.Aprócska köröket vagdostam és ismét jöhetett a hevítés. Így születtek meg ezek a gyűrűk,de biztos vagyok benne,hogy most már menni fog szebb darabok elkészítése is :)

I promised to give details on how these plastic jewels are made.

Well, I thought two piesces of plastic would easily fuse together when melted, but I was wrong… it distorts if you overheat it, or it might get punctured, or the worst – the paper and textile between the them catches fire. The thing that can speed up the whole process is a little glue. I applied a thin smear of household starch on the plastics – this is a kind of glue as well – I just waited for it to dry then proceeded with the heating.

I played around with this a bit more, I cut the plastic to thicker pieces, then painted them with glass paint. This takes more time, since you have to wait for every piece to dry completely. I sliced and heated them. This is how these rings were made, but now I’m sure I can make prettier pieces J

Majd ezután ismét nem álltam meg,jöhetett egy kis "Vízi világ", festettem,melegítettem,daraboltam szőttem fontam :D

Lett egy darab,amivel csak a hangulatot szerettem volna tükrözni,a második darab pedig egy medúzás szett.

After this I didn’t stop, continued with some „water world”, I painted, heated, sliced, weaved and braided :D

I made a piece that reflects the mood and another one with a medusa theme.

Aztán eszembe jutott,hogy mi lenne ha...?Elő a lámpa búra anyagot és textilfestéket!!!

Ez a lámpa búra anyag egy nehezebben olvadó műanyag amit textil borít. Gondoltam teszek egy próbát,jöhet ide is egy kis matyó motívum! Íme :D

So I thought, what if…? Let’s get the lampshade material and the textile paint! This lampshade material is a kind of plastic that is difficult to heat up and is covered in textile. I gave it a try, decorate it with „matyó” patterns! Here it is :D

After this I put „matyó” and „kalocsai” themes on the plasticine too.

Múlthéten még ők is belefértek az időkeretembe :)
